(Ottawa) — On the 1st of May 2017, at approx. 2000 hours, OPS received a call from a concerned citizen reporting a person armed with a handgun in the area of the 200 block of King George Street, Ottawa.
Police responded and set up a perimeter in the area. As a result of the investigation four adult persons were taken into custody. Three were released unconditionally at the scene. One adult male was brought to 474 Elgin Street pending a criminal investigation.
The investigation is ongoing by Central Division Investigators.
