Seeking suspect from Loyola Park sexual assault

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:  Friday, September 25, 2015   3:20pm 

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service Sexual Assault and Child Abuse (SACA) Section is investigating a complaint of a sexual assault at Loyola Park in the East end of Ottawa.

On September 22, 2015 at approximately 3:45pm a teenage boy was walking through Loyola Park when an adult male pushed him to the ground and attempted to remove his clothing. The boy was able to flee from the male and run home.

The suspect is described as a Latin American male, 47-52 years old, 5’6”-5’7” (168cm-170cm) with a muscular build, chin length brown hair, brown eyes and unshaven. He was wearing a black V-neck t-shirt, jeans and prescription glasses with a black frame. He spoke English with a raspy voice and smelled of body spray.
