(Ottawa)— The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit is investigating a recent bank robbery and is seeking the public’s assistance to identify the suspect responsible.
On June 19, 2017, at approximately 10:50am, a lone suspect entered a bank situated along the 1-100 block of Main Street. The suspect produced a note making a demand for cash. The suspect obtained an undisclosed quantity of money and fled the premises. There were no injuries.
The suspect is described as being Caucasian male, 40’s, moustache, approximately 5’7” (170cm). He was wearing glasses, dark pants and shirt, a yellow construction helmet, and a green safety vest.
