(Ottawa)—The Ottawa Police Major Crime Section continues to investigate the homicide of a 36-year-old man on Iris Street last night. The victim has been identified as Esmail Sharifi.

Homicide investigation: Iris Street
(Ottawa) –The Ottawa Police Major Crime Section is investigating the shooting death of a 36 year old man last night on the 2700 block of Iris Street.
The shooting occurred at about 9:30 p.m. last night. The man succumbed to his injuries after being transported to hospital.
