(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service Sexual Assault and Child Abuse (SACA) Section has charged an Ottawa man following an investigation into the sexual exploitation of a female under the age of 18.
Dejan "Dean" Tanasijevic, 62-years-old, is a well-known coach and personal trainer in the women’s basketball community. While training a female, under the age of 18, he provided her with a recovery massage during which he sexually assaulted her.
The investigation is ongoing.
Mr. Tanasijevic is charged with the following offences:
• Sexual Assault
• Sexual Exploitation
• Sexual Interference
SACA investigators are concerned that there could be other victims.
