(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit is investigating a December retail robbery and is seeking the public’s assistance to identify the suspect responsible.
On Sunday, December 10, 2017, at approximately 5:40 pm, a lone suspect entered a convenience store situated along the 300 block of Shakespeare Street. The suspect, who was partly disguised and in possession of a knife, made a demand for cash. The suspect fled the premises after obtaining an undisclosed quantity of money. There were no injuries.
The suspect is described as being a Caucasian male, 35-45 years, and wore glasses. He was also wearing a distinctive, multi-coloured coat, blue jeans and a hooded jacket (view pictures.)
