FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Saturday, March 10, 2018 4:28pm
(Ottawa) – At approximately 10:50pm, on Friday, March 9, an intoxicated male was involved in a disturbance on the patio of an establishment in the 300 block of Montreal Road. During the disturbance, the male pointed a sawed off shotgun at 2 people.
The male then left the patio prior to police arrival. Responding Frontline officers immediately located the male and placed him under arrest without incident. The shotgun was also immediately found by officers after the suspect had discarded it nearby.
Nicholas LALONDE, 23 years of Ottawa has been charged with:
- Careless use of firearm
- Pointing a firearm x 2
- Obstructing police
- Breach of probation
LALONDE appeared in court Saturday, March 10, 2018.
