(Ottawa) —On the evening of April 10th, officers from the Ottawa Police Service Street Crime Unit and Patrol Services executed a warrant in the 1-100 block of Florence Street and arrested three persons inside a residence.
During the month of April, the Ottawa Police received numerous community complaints about the possibility of drug trafficking stemming from the residence.
During a search of the residence, street level quantities of drugs and cash were seized. Drugs seized (and still to be tested and confirmed by Health Canada) include: Fentanyl, Crack Cocaine, Hydromorphone, Nabilone and Heroin. Property seized included drug packing materials and Canadian Currency.
Charges have been laid as follows:
Mandi LITTLEWOOD (f), 43 years old of Ottawa is charged with:
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking a Schedule 1 substance (Fentanyl), Sec 5(2) CDSA x1
- Possession of a Schedule I substance (Hydromorphone), Sec 5(2) CDSA x1
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking a Schedule 1 substance (Heroin), Sec 5(2) CDSA x1
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking a Schedule II substance (Nabalone), Sec 5(2) CDSA x1.
Paul CARTER, 50 years old of Ottawa is charged with:
- Possession of a Schedule 1 substance (Crack Cocaine), Sec 4(1) CDSA x1
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking a Schedule 1 substance (Fentanyl), Sec 5(2) CDSA x1
- Possession of a Schedule I substance (Hydromorphone), Sec 5(2) CDSA x1
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking a Schedule 1 substance (Heroin), Sec 5(2) CDSA x1
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking a Schedule II substance (Nabalone), Sec 5(2) CDSA x1
Darren McLEOD, 26 years old of Ottawa is charged with:
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking a Schedule 1 substance (Fentanyl), Sec 5(2) CDSA x1
- Possession of a Schedule I substance (Hydromorphone), Sec 5(2) CDSA x1
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking a Schedule 1 substance (Heroin), Sec 5(2) CDSA x1
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking a Schedule II substance (Nabalone), Sec 5(2) CDSA x1.
All three have been released on a promise to appear.
