(Ottawa)—The Ottawa Police Service Sexual Assault and Child Abuse (SACA) Section has charged an Ottawa man following an investigation into an allegation of Sexual assault.
On April 24, 2018 an adult female reported to the Ottawa Police that she had been sexually assaulted that same day during a massage appointment by her massage therapist. Following the sexual assault, he repeatedly attempted to communicate with her.
On April 26th, 2018, Chatelain JEAN, 38 years old, of Ottawa was charged with 2 counts of Sexual Assault and 2 counts of Criminal Harassment.
He is scheduled to appear in court today.
The incident occurred while the accused was in the course of his employment as a massage therapist at his home-based business in the west end of Ottawa.
SACA investigators are concerned there could be more victims, considering that JEAN worked at several other massage clinics, also in Ottawa’s west end.
