(Ottawa) –The Ottawa Police Service Collision Investigation Unit (CIU) is investigating a serious collision that occurred on Monday, April 30, at approximately 9:30pm.
Frontline officers arrived on scene at York's Corners Road and Pana Road, where a white S.U.V. was involved in a single vehicle collision resting in the ditch. Ottawa Paramedics and Fire Services first responders assisted the injured driver beside the vehicle. The 24 year old female driver was transported to hospital with life threatening injuries.
CIU is looking to speak to any witness who has not yet been spoken to as well as any person that witnessed the vehicle prior to the collision.
