(Ottawa) – On October 30th, two youths were charged by the Ottawa Police Robbery Unit in relation to two separate robberies. The first was in the area of Alon Street, where a victim was threatened with a knife and had their backpack stolen.
The same two youths then proceeded to an address on Mistral Way and confronted a homeowner, looking for money. A struggle ensued and one victim was stabbed. The injuries were not life-threatening.
A 17 year old male was charged with:
- Robbery with an Offensive Weapon
- Possess Weapon for Committing an Offence
- Conspiracy to Commit an Offence
- Break and Enter to Commit
- Robbery with Intent to Steal
- Assault with a Weapon X2
- Possession Weapon for Committing an Offence
A second 17 year old male was charged with:
- Robbery with an Offensive Weapon
- Possess Weapon for Committing an Offence
- Conspiracy to Commit an Offence
- Break and Enter to Commit
- Robbery with Intent to Steal
- Assault with a Weapon X2
Both minors appeared in court this morning.
