(Ottawa) –The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit has charged an Ottawa man for a spree of robberies.
David MUNKONDO, 34 years old of Ottawa is facing multiple criminal charges from different robberies in different locations in Ottawa.
On Sunday, October 28, 2018 at 2:00pm, bank robbery in the 2400 block of Bank Street. He is charged with:
- Robbery
On Monday, October 29, 2018 at 10:40pm, commercial robbery in the 400 block of Rideau Street. He is charged with:
- Robbery
On Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at 5:10am, commercial robbery in the 500 block of Hazeldean Road. He is charged with:
- Robbery
- Uttering threats
On Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at 1:28am, personal robbery in the King Edward Avenue and Stewart Street area. He is charged with:
- Robbery with a weapon
- Possession of a weapons dangerous
- Carrying a concealed weapon
On Sunday, November 4, 2018 at 2:50pm, commercial robbery in the 2900 block of St-Joseph Boulevard. He is charged with:
- Robbery
- Assault with a weapon
MUNKONDO was arrested on November 4th. He remains in custody. He is set to appear in show cause court tomorrow, November 7, 2018.
