(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit is investigating a bank robbery and is seeking the public’s assistance to identify the suspect responsible.
On Thursday, November 8, 2018, at approximately 10:45am, a lone suspect entered a bank situated along the 1-100 block of Main Street. The suspect produced a note demanding cash. The suspect obtained an undisclosed quantity of money and fled the premises. There were no injuries.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, 45-55 years old, approximately 6’ (183cm), medium build with short hair. He was wearing a dark baseball cap with a white logo, beige winter/construction jacket and reading glasses (See attached picture.)
