(Ottawa) — One man is in custody and facing multiple charges after an early morning shooting incident on Lees Ave.
At about 2:20 a.m., a resident of 171 Lees Ave. called police to report what he believed to be the sound of a gunshot from a nearby unit. He also reported finding a bullet hole in the wall from that unit.
Patrol and Tactical officers attended the residence from where the shot originated and arrested the lone 18 year old male occupant without incident.
There is no evidence of gang activity and the investigation continues into the matter.
