(Ottawa) –On Friday, November 23, 2018 at approximately 11:54am, Frontline officers responded to a personal robbery near the intersection of Othello Avenue and Chapman Blvd.
The 57 year old female victim had been walking along the sidewalk when she was approached from behind by the suspect, who pulled on her purse with sufficient force to knock her to the ground.
The suspect is described as a heavy set male, possibly of aboriginal or Middle Eastern descent, 20 to 30 years old, chin strap beard and dark hair. At the time of the incident, he wore a camouflage hat, grey sweatpants and a dark-coloured jacket. (view pictures)
