(Ottawa)—The Ottawa Police Service Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Section is investigating a suspicious incident that occurred in the area of Cavan Street and Lepage Avenue.
On January 4, 2016 between 2:30pm and 2:50pm two young girls, both under 10 years old, exited their school bus when a lone male approached them and picked one of them up and said “come with me”. The second girl challenged the male causing him to put the girl down. The girls were able to leave the scene and reported the incident to their parents.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, 5’9” (175cm), thin build, short blond hair with a full brown beard. He had dirty teeth and a silver tooth on the bottom row. He was wearing a brown puffy jacket, brown sweat pants, black running shoes, black tuque and mittens. The suspect had a wrist tattoo with words.
