Investigators are still looking for more information

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Tuesday, February 20, 2018   3:22pm 

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service Collision Investigation Unit continue to investigate the Hit and Run collision that occurred on November 20, 2017 at 2:22pm on Preston Street and Pamilla Street. A 22 year old female was victim of this collision and suffered life-threatening injuries. 

Investigators are looking for more information on the driver and occupant(s) of the suspect vehicle at the time of the collision. The vehicle is a 2009 Honda Civic 4 door, metallic brown colour (view picture of vehicle.) 

Anyone with information that could assist this investigation is asked to call the Ottawa Police Collision Investigation Unit at 613-236-1222, ext. 2481.

Update: Suspect vehicle has been located

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service Collision Investigation Unit would like to inform the public that the suspect vehicle has been located.  

The investigation continues in confirming the driver of that vehicle at the time of the collision.

Anyone with information that could assist in identifying the driver is asked to call the Ottawa Police Collision Investigation Unit at 613-236-1222, ext. 2481.

Police seek public assistance to locate driver and vehicle involved in hit and run collision

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service is asking for the public’s help in locating the driver and vehicle involved in a hit and run collision this afternoon. 

The incident happened at about 2:25 pm on Pamilla Street at Preston Street. A woman in her 20’s was struck and suffered life-threatening injuries. The driver of the vehicle did not stop. 

Debris from the vehicle’s lower bumper area was recovered at the scene and the front passenger headlight is missing. Police are looking for a grey 4-door Honda civic with lower bumper damage on the front passenger side of the vehicle. The front passenger windshield may also be damaged.
