(Ottawa) –The Ottawa Police Robbery Unit began investigating a series of convenience store robberies in September, believed to be committed by the same suspect at the same location in the 200 block of Richmond Road.
- Thursday, September 20, 2018 at 3:45am.
- Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 3:40am.
- Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at 2:07am.
During each of the robberies, the suspect was armed with either an X-Acto knife or a kitchen knife. No injuries were reported during any of the three incidents.
On Tuesday, November 27, a search warrant was executed in the 500 block of Kirkwood Avenue, with the assistance of the Robbery Unit, and Tactical officers. The suspect, Daniel NOLAN, was arrested without incident inside the unit.
Daniel NOLAN, 42 years old of Ottawa is charged with:
- Robbery x3
- Possession of a weapon x3
NOLAN will be attending show cause court today.
