(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police’s Robbery Unit has charged a 15 year old male following its investigation into the incident in the 2400 block of Southvale Crescent.
The teenager has been charged with:
- Robbery with an Offensive Weapon
- Aggravated Assault
- Possession of a Weapon
He was scheduled to appear in court yesterday afternoon.

Youth arrested for personal Robbery on Southvale Crescent
(Ottawa) – Ottawa Police Frontline officers responded to an emergency near the 2400 block of Southvale Crescent, on December 12, 2018 at approximately 10:10pm. Upon arrival, officers located a 33 year old male who reported being stabbed after refusing a demand to turn over his property. A young male matching the suspect’s description was seen by police very close to the scene and was subsequently arrested after a foot pursuit.
A 15 year old suspect is currently in custody and the investigation by the Ottawa Police Robbery Unit is ongoing.
The victim was treated at hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
