Robbery suspect to identify from Strandherd Drive incident

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Wednesday, March 6, 2019      10:56am  

(Ottawa) – On Sunday, February 10, 2019, at approximately 00:15 am, a male suspect entered a restaurant in the 3700 block of Strandherd Drive and waited in the lobby for a short period of time.   

The male waited till an opportunity arose that food was ready to be served, he then grabbed the food and started to head to the front door. An employee confronted him prior to reaching the front door. The male suspect assaulted the employee and fled the area on foot. 

The male suspect is described as a black male, 5’10” to 6’ (178 cm to 183 cm), late teens to early 20s, slender build, clean-shaven, short dark hair, wearing white running shoes, blue jeans, dark-coloured hooded sweatshirt under a dark-coloured jacket with hood (view pictures.)
