(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service Sexual Assault and Child Abuse (SACA) Section has charged a Cambridge Ontario man following an investigation into an allegation of an Invitation to Sexual Touching.
On February 13, 2016, the Ottawa Police Service received a report of a male suspect who had approached a 14 year old male at an Ottawa Hotel and asked the teenager if he would like to participate in a sexual act with him.
Steven MORTON, 50 years old, of Cambridge Ontario is charged with one count of Invitation to Sexual Touching.
He has been charged and released on conditions designed to protect children under the age of 16 years.
The accused may have travelled to various cities in Ontario for recreational events. SACA investigators are concerned that there could be other victims.
