(Ottawa)—Today, Ottawa Police Major Crime investigators charged Robert THEORET, 57 years old, of Ottawa with Second degree murder in the February 20th, 2019 murder of Gaetan Jolin.
THEORET is scheduled to appear in court this afternoon.

Arrest in homicide investigation from Jolliet Avenue
(Ottawa) – On Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at 1:30pm, Ottawa Paramedics contacted Ottawa Police about a suspicious medical call where a man in his 50s suffered serious injuries by unknown reasons at the time of arrival. Frontline officers attended both the hospital to meet the injured man and also attended an address on Jolliet Avenue.
The investigation continued to discover this being a serious assault.
Gaetan Jolin, 55 years old, of Ottawa succumbed to his injuries early Thursday morning.
On Sunday, Major Crime investigators have arrested Michael LEDUC, 43 years old, and charged him with second degree murder.
LEDUC appeared in court Sunday morning.
