(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Drug Unit executed two search warrants yesterday, one in the 1500 block of Goth Avenue and the other in the 1-100 block of Bradley Cole private, and four people were charged.
Seized items include:
- Cocaine
- Hydrocodone
- Xanax
- Oxycodone
- Cannabis
- Currency
- A hydraulic press
- Two bulletproof vests
- Digital scales
- A money counting machine
- A 2014 Mercedes Benz automobile
All seized drugs are still to be analyzed by Health Canada.
Charges were laid as follows:
Mousa ABDUL-HUSSEIN, 26 years old (m) of Ottawa:
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking in a Schedule I substance (cocaine) x2
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking in a Schedule I substance (oxycodone)
- Possession of Schedule I substance (hydrocodone)
- Possession of Cannabis for Purpose of Distributing
- Possession of Proceeds of Crime over $5000.00
- Possession of Proceeds of Crime under $5000.00
Miriam KHOURY, 24 years old (f) of Ottawa:
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking in a Schedule I (cocaine)
- Possession of Schedule I substance (hydrocodone)
- Possession of Cannabis for Purpose of Distributing
- Possession of Proceeds of Crime over $5000.00
Samar ABDUL-HUSSEIN, 52 years old (f) and Khalil TFAILY, 55 years old (m), both of Ottawa:
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking in a Schedule I (cocaine)
Mousa ABDUL-HUSSEIN is scheduled to appear in court today. The three other charged people have been released on a Promise to Appear.
