(Ottawa) — Ottawa Police Frontline officers responded to two robberies in the 300 block of Montreal Road within the last week.
On November 30th at approximately 3:20 pm, a man entered a business with his face covered with a bandana. He approached an employee and demanded all the money from the cash register. The suspect then fled the area with an undisclosed amount of money.
On December 4th at approximately 3:10 am, a man entered a business, with his face covered with a bandana again. In this case the man presented a knife and demanded all the money from the register. Another employee interrupted the robbery and the suspect fled the area.
The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit has charged Jeremy YOUNG, 33 years old, of Ottawa

- Disguise with intent x2
- Possess a weapon for committing an offence
He is scheduled to appear in court today.
