(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service is pleased to advise that extended hours are in effect for Front Desk Services until March 31, 2020.
You can visit us at our 211 Huntmar, 3343 St. Joseph or 474 Elgin Street stations, from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Temporary closure of Front Desk Services at 474 Elgin Street
Due to building repairs, Front Desk Services at 474 Elgin Street will close at 7 p.m. nightly between December 15th and December 21st to accommodate overnight work.
In the event of bad weather, the building repairs may be put on hold in order to support the demand for service utilizing the Collision Reporting Centre.
Front Desk Services take information from the public for the following:
- Reports on criminal acts including: mischief/damage to property, break and enter, and fraud;
- Assist clients who are required to attend and sign in to meet conditions of release;
- Take additional evidence for a crime that’s already been reported; and
- Take collision reports.
Reports relating to sexual assault or domestic abuse will be redirected to an officer.
