(Ottawa) – In August 2019, the Ottawa Police Service Internet Child Exploitation Unit (ICE) received a third-party complaint that a Manotick man had uploaded images of child pornography.
Subsequent investigation and authorized forensic examination of his computer confirmed the allegation as well as discovery of additional images.
Today, the ICE Unit charged Andrew HUGGETT, 64 years old, of Ottawa, with Possession of child pornography contrary to s. 163.1(4) of the Criminal Code.
He will appear at show cause court this afternoon.
