(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service Homicide Unit charged a man in relation to the stabbing death of Jonathan Hammell, 42 years old, of Ottawa.
Kevin RICHER, 44 years old, of Ottawa is charged with 2nd Degree Murder in the homicide that occurred on the 1-100 block of Eccles Street yesterday.
RICHER is scheduled to appear in court today.

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service Homicide Unit continues to investigate the stabbing death of a man that occurred this evening. Police and emergency responders were called to the 1-100 block of Eccles Street at about 4:40 PM where they found a 42-year old man who was later pronounced deceased. One man has been taken into custody.
