(Ottawa) – Today, the Ottawa Police Service Sexual Assault and Child Abuse (SACA) Unit charged a man with sex offences following an investigation.
Yassin FARAH, 37 years of age, of no fixed address, is charged with sexual assault on a child under 16 with a weapon, forcible confinement x2, robbery with a weapon, and uttering threats to cause death x3.
He is scheduled to appear in court today.
These charges are related to incidents that took place in the early evening hours of November 27th, 2020 in the west end of Ottawa involving two teenage girls.
SACA investigators are concerned that there could be other victims and are asking anyone with information in relation to his whereabouts since November 1st, 2020 to contact police.
