(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service Sexual Assault and Child Abuse (SACA) Section has charged an Ottawa man, following an investigation into an allegation of Sexual Assault.
On May 10th, 2016, in the evening hours the Ottawa Police Service responded to the 200 block area of Somerset Street East in response a 911 call. At the scene, they discovered a female who had been severely beaten and sexually assaulted inside a nearby residence.
Yves Jean Brisebois, 60 years old, formerly of the Hawkesbury area is charged with one count of Aggravated Sexual Assault and one count of Breach of Recognizance. He will appear in court on Wednesday May 11th 2016.
Sexual Assault and Child Abuse investigators are looking to speak with any witnesses. They are also concerned there could be other victims.
