UPDATE: Single Motor Vehicle Collision with Life Threatening Injuries

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Monday, May 23, 2016        9:15 am 

(Ottawa) — The 40 year old male driver from Cornwall, who was involved in the collision on Friday May 20th, 2016 on Kinburn Side Rd, has died in hospital as a result of his injuries. The name will not be released at the request of the family. 

The single motor vehicle collision is under investigation by the Ottawa Police's Collision Investigation Unit.

Single Motor Vehicle Collision with Life-Threatening Injuries 

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Collision Investigation Unit is investigating a single motor vehicle collision that occurred on Friday, May 20th, 2016 at 11:00 pm on Kinburn Side Rd, just south of Dunrobin Rd. 

A 40 year old male driver was alone in the vehicle, and he was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries. The male’s condition has since been upgraded to stable but critical. 

The identity of the male is not being released at this time.
