FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Wednesday, May 25th, 2016 1808 hrs
(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service responded to a serious motor vehicle collision with a pedestrian in a parking lot in the 100 block of Beechwood Avenue. The collision occurred approximately 3:15 pm this afternoon. The elderly female pedestrian with life-threatening injuries was taken to hospital.
The matter is currently under investigation by the Collisions Investigation Unit.
