(Ottawa)–The Ottawa Police Service would like to thank those who expressed interest in our June 8th Speed Recruiting event. All available spots for both sessions have now been filled.
Any future sessions will be announced with a public advisory and posted on our website.
Accommodations will be provided in all parts of the hiring process as required. Accessible formats and communication support are available upon request. Applicants need to make their needs known in advance.

The next Speed Recruiting session is June 8th
(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service Outreach and Recruitment Team is pleased to announce its third “Speed Recruiting “event on Monday, June 8, 2015 at the Ottawa Police Association located at 141 Catherine Street.
Due to the immense popularity of the previous speed recruiting events, the Ottawa Police Service will be holding two sessions on the evening of June 8th.
The first session will commence at 5:30pm; and the second at 7:00pm. Those who wish to participate will have to register. Registration details are coming soon.
“During the evening, there will be several stations set up, hosted by current Ottawa Police Service officers and civilians,” said Cst. Sheldon Baptiste, with the Ottawa Police Outreach Recruitment and Resourcing. “As attendees rotate between the stations they will be offered a brief glimpse at what a day might look like working for the Ottawa Police Service.”
