(Ottawa)—The Ottawa Police Service is seeking public assistance to identify a man who was found deceased on April 29, 2014 in a reservoir behind the Energy Ottawa building on Booth Street.
Central District Investigators have determined that there was no foul play in the death; however Ottawa Police has yet to identify him. He has not been matched to any missing persons report, at this point.
He is described as a Caucasian male, between 30-48 years old, weighing approximately 209lbs (95kg), 6’1” (185cm) with brown eyes and medium length brown hair showing male pattern baldness.
A facial approximation sketch was done to show what the man may have looked like (see artist's rendering sketch).
At the time, he was wearing a green “Retreat” winter jacket with a removable hood (see picture), black “Doc Martens” safety boots with a composite toe and brown suede-like winter gloves with yellow stitching (see picture).
He was wearing several layers of pants - one of which was navy blue track pants with red stripes on both sides (see picture).

Recovered body in the Ottawa River
(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service is requesting public assistance in identifying a body that was found in the Ottawa River.
On April 29th a call came in for a deceased male discovered in a reservoir coming from the Ottawa River.
The Ottawa Police has ruled the death to be non suspicious. The Ottawa Police require assistance in identifying the deceased male. The male is described as follows: white, approximately 50-65yrs, approximately 5'8-6'2 (173 cm to 188 cm), approximately 190-220lbs (86 kg to 100 kg), grey unshaven beard.
The male was wearing a green fall hooded jacket, burgundy top, navy blue top, blue top with white horizontal lines, navy blue one piece long johns, blue track pants, black Doc Martens industrial boots, leather or suede work gloves.
