FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Friday, April 15, 2016              11:30am

(Ottawa)— The warmer weather means there will be an increase in different types of road users like cyclists, motorcyclists, and children out on our local streets.

The Ottawa Police Service, Ottawa Fire Services, Ottawa Public Health, Ottawa Paramedics and Safer Roads Ottawa want to remind all road users to stay alert and help keep our roads safe.

On Thursday morning, a cyclist was struck during the morning rush hour, in the East end, and suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries.
