(Ottawa)— The Ottawa Police Service Human Trafficking Unit is investigating a violent encounter in an apartment unit in the 1-100 block of Daly Avenue which occurred in the early morning hours on May 24, 2016. As a result, two suspects have been arrested and one remains at large.
Devon LABELLE, 23 years old of Ottawa, has been charged with Human Trafficking, receiving a financial benefit from Human Trafficking, assault causing bodily harm, uttering threats and 8 counts of assault. He remains in custody.
Keisha TOUZIN, 24 years old of Ottawa has been charged with aggravated assault. She was released on a recognizance.
Pierre SENATUS, 21 years old of Ottawa, remains at large. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.
He is described as a black male, 6’ (183cm), 205lbs (93kg) medium build, with medium curly hair, possibly braided and a beard. He is to be considered armed and dangerous.
The charges against SENATUS include:
- Sexual assault with a weapon
- Assault with a weapon (2 counts)
- Aggravated assault
- 8 firearm-related charges including Using a firearm during the commission of an indictable offence, pointing a Firearm, possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace, carrying a concealed weapon
- Failure to comply with judicial release conditions (2 counts)
