(Ottawa) — Dart Officers of the Ottawa Police Service arrested two males in the Chesterton Drive area.
On Wednesday, September 14th, at approximately 9:20pm, Dart Officers were conducting proactive policing in the community, walking paths and park areas of Chesterton Drive when they arrested two males in possession of drugs in plain view. During the arrest, a gun was also located and seized.
Fawaz MUFARREH, 22 of Ottawa is charged with:
* Careless use of Firearm, weapon, prohibited device
* Possession of a weapon
* Unauthorized possession of a firearm
* Possession of a firearm knowing its possession is unauthorized
* Possession of a loaded prohibited or restricted firearm
* Possession of firearm or ammunition
* Possession of a Schedule II substance
Fuad Abdulwali, 25, of Ottawa, is charged with:
* Possession of a Schedule II Substance
