(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service Central District Investigations Section has launched an investigation after receiving a YouTube video from social media depicting what appears to be a male threatening the driver of a parked vehicle. The video has been reviewed by investigators and at this point in time, no victim has come forward to police. It is therefore impossible to confirm whether the video implicates a taxi driver and/or a Uber driver.
As the investigation is ongoing, the Ottawa Police Service will not make any further comments in relation to possible victim(s) and/or suspect(s) until the investigation is concluded.
