(Ottawa) –In early February 2017, the National Child Exploitation Coordination Centre (NCECC) forwarded, to the Ottawa Police Service Internet Child Exploitation Unit (ICE), reports they had received from the National Centre for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipLine.
These reports, submitted by ‘Pinterest’, indicated that an IP address in the Ottawa area was noted to have uploaded images of Child Pornography.
A search warrant was executed today at a residence in the Heron Park area of Ottawa, where several digital devices were located and seized.
David BIGGS, 66 years old, is charged with:
- 3 x Possession Child Pornography s. 163.1(4) of the Criminal Code
- 2 x Make Available Child Pornography s. 163.1(3) of the Criminal Code
BIGGS will appear at show cause court on Wednesday, May 10, 2017.
