Suspect sought for commercial break and enter on Coventry Road

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Monday, May 29, 2017   1:17 pm

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service Break & Enter Unit is investigating a recent commercial break & enter and is seeking the public's assistance to identify the suspect responsible.

On May 7, 2017, at approximately 1:40 am, a lone suspect gained entry to a commercial storage premise situated along the 300 block of Coventry Road. Once inside, the suspect pried open walls to gain entry to storage units. The suspect stole a number of items, which were loaded onto a U-Haul truck.

The suspect is described as being a Caucasian male, 25-35 years old, 5'9"-5'11" (175-180 cm) tall, medium build, and clean shaven. The male was wearing a black coat, black pants, black baseball cap with "American Eagle" insignia on front and brown hiking-style shoes.
