(Ottawa)– Ottawa Police Service Frontline officers attended a call for service about a Break and Enter in progress at a store in the 300 block of Richmond Road at approximately 2:17am on Tuesday, July 17.
The male suspect had fled the scene prior to officers’ arrival at scene. K9 and frontline officers contained the area.
The investigation continued. With a successful K9 track, the suspect was later arrested without incident. During this track, a large quantity of merchandise from the Break in was recovered.
Johnathon ROBINSON, 40 years old of Ottawa is charged with:
- Break and Enter and Commit place other than dwelling
- Mischief to property under $5000
ROBINSON appeared at show cause court yesterday and further charges may apply during the court process.
