(Ottawa) — Last night, the Ottawa Police Service Internet Child Exploitation Unit (ICE) and the Sexual Assault and Child Abuse (SACA) Unit laid more charges against Danny BURGESS following an investigation into separate incidents and different victims.
From a 2003 investigation, Danny BURGESS has been charged in relation to an incident with a boy under the age of 10. The charges laid are:
- Sexual Assault x1
- Sexual Interference x1
- Invitation to Sexual Touching x1
From a 1999 investigation, Danny BURGESS has been charged for three separate incidents involving three different girls under the age of 10:
- Sexual Assault x3
- Sexual Interference x3
A 2nd charge of Possession of Child Pornography was also laid last evening in relation to the February 2nd search warrant.
He will appear in court today.
Investigators are concerned that there could be other victims.

Ottawa man charged with Child Sexual Offences
(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service Internet Child Exploitation Unit (ICE) and the Sexual Assault and Child Abuse (SACA) Unit have both laid charges against an Ottawa man following separate investigations of child pornography and an allegation of child sexual assaults.
On January 13, 2015, the ICE Unit received information from the National Child Exploitation Coordination Centre (NCECC) regarding a video upload of Child Pornography via Omegle.
On September 13, 2015, the SACA Unit began an investigation into historical sexual assaults on a boy under 10 years old. The sexual assaults began in the early 90s and continued over the course of several years. The victim will not be further identified.
On February 2, 2016, the ICE Unit executed a search warrant at a residence in the 8000 block of Jeanne D’Arc Boulevard in Ottawa. Several computers and external digital media were seized and are being forensically analyzed.
Danny BURGESS, 54 years old, of Ottawa is charged with Accessing Child Pornography, Possession of Child Pornography, Make Available Child Pornography, Sexual Assault, Sexual Interference and Invitation to Sexual Touching.
He is scheduled to appear in court on February 3, 2106.
