(Ottawa)- The Ottawa Police Service Robbery has charged a male in relation to two commercial robberies which occurred on August 20th and 21st in Ottawa.
On Tuesday August 20, at 11:25pm in the 200 block of Laurier Street, a male suspect, face covered by a red bandana, approached an employee of a convenience store and brandished a knife. He demanded money and cigars then fled the area on foot.
A few hours later, at 1:24 am in the 1900 block of Trim Road, a male suspect, face covered by a red bandana, approached an employee. Brandishing a knife, he demanded money and cigars. He fled the area on foot.
Aidan SCOTT, 26 years old, of Ottawa has been charged with:
- Armed Robbery x2
- Possess a Weapon for Committing an Offence x3
- Theft of Motor Vehicle
- Breach of Recognizance x5
SCOTT is scheduled to appear in court today.
