Suspects to identify in two residential break and enter on Lavergne Street

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Thursday, October 24 2019,       12:36pm

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service is investigating two residential break and enters and is seeking the public’s assistance to identify the suspects responsible. 

On Tuesday, September 22, 2019, at approximately 10:30pm, two suspects attended the 100 block of Lavergne Street. While one suspect gained entry to the storage area of multiple buildings, the other male remained in his vehicle. Once inside the storage rooms, the suspect proceeded to steal various tools from different storage locations, returned to the waiting vehicle, and the pair fled the scene. 

The suspects are described as 2 Caucasian males, 45-55 years of age. The vehicle used is believed to be a blue Hyundai Elantra Hatchback with a Quebec licence plate. Attached are photos of the males and vehicle.  (view pictures)
