(Ottawa)— The Ottawa Police Service Guns and Gangs Unit is investigating a shooting that occurred during the daytime on Wednesday July 6th, 2016.
A resident in the 400 block of King George Street noticed a broken window at the front of their home. Upon further inspection, a bullet was found lodged in the frame of the window, which had caused the window to break.
Patrol Officers responded to the scene and a single shell casing was located near the residence.
There have been no reported injuries, and no 911 calls were received by police about shots being fired.
Guns and Gangs Investigators are asking any witnesses to come forward.
