Suspect to be identified for pharmacy robbery

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit is investigating a pharmacy robbery and is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect responsible. 

On October 5, 2015, at approximately 11:30 pm., a lone male suspect entered a pharmacy situated along the 1500 block of Bank Street near Walkley Road.  The suspect passed a note to the pharmacist making a demand for prescription drugs.  The suspect was provided a quantity of drugs and then fled the premises.  Investigators have reason to believe he fled to a vehicle parked nearby. No weapon was seen.  There were no injuries.

The suspect is described as being a Caucasian male, 40-50 years, 5”7 to 5”10 “(170 cm to 178 cm), lean to medium build. (images attached)
