Male suspect to be identified from Beechwood Avenue Robbery

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit is investigating the robbery of a gas station and is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect responsible. 

On September 19, 2015, at approximately 7:15am, a lone male suspect entered a gas station situated along the 1-100 block of Beechwood Avenue. The suspect, armed with a knife, made a demand for cash, he obtained an undisclosed quantity of cash and then fled on foot.  There were no injuries. 

The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, approximately 25 years of age, of average height, medium build with a full dark beard.  At the time he wore a hooded sweatshirt, light blue jeans, and sneakers (see attached pictures).
