(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit is investigating a recent pharmacy robbery and is seeking the public’s assistance to identify the suspect responsible and releasing a video and image(s).
On July 12, 2016, at approximately 3:55pm, a lone male suspect entered a pharmacy situated along the 1000 block of Pleasant Park Road near St. Laurent Blvd.
The suspect jumped over a gate in the pharmacy area and made a demand for Fentanyl. The suspect grabbed a quantity of drugs and fled the premises. There were no injuries.
The suspect is described as being a black male, approximately 5'10" (178cm), medium build. He was wearing a grey hooded jacket, a white hat under the hood, sunglasses, and a medical glove on his right hand. He carried a red/black duffle bag (see picture(s)).
