Victim of homicide on Winthrop Private identified

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service Major Crime Unit confirms the identity of the victim from the homicide investigation on Winthrop Private. 

Jeremy MACK, 36 year old of Ottawa, succumbed to his injuries in hospital.

Homicide investigation on Winthrop Private 

  (Ottawa) –The Ottawa Police Service Major Crime Unit confirms a homicide investigation in the 1-100 block of Winthrop Private. 

On Saturday, July 23rd, 2016 at 4:48 pm, officers attended the Winthrop Private address for a call for service indicating male suffering serious injuries.   The injured male, age 36, was transported to hospital with serious to life-threatening injuries in relation to a stabbing.  He later succumbed to his injuries at hospital. 

One male was arrested on scene.
